About Certiverse
Certification for everyone.
Certiverse makes future-forward certification accessible to any organization that wants to build credentials worth earning.
Our origins:
Limitations launched a barrier-breaker.
For years, professional certification lived behind a wall. The high costs and long timelines from legacy vendors made exams expensive, slow, and stagnant – on purpose. A few major companies gatekept the tools for learners to succeed.
Our CEO & co-founder, Ruben Garcia, felt this firsthand. Struggling to afford college, he followed a mentor’s recommendation to earn a certification and get a higher-paying job in IT. It was a risk, because even entry-level exams were a financial reach, but taking that chance paid off.
It was an eye-opening experience, revealing both the importance of credentials and the access issues preventing professionals from advancing in the workforce.
After starting his career in the emerging online, adaptive testing world, he went on to patent a certification technology solution giving broader access to exams as part of his first exited testing company.
But the certification world around him continued to stand still. As a lifelong technologist, he envisioned a platform that made certification development accessible to any organization without requiring a team of consultants to get started.
So he built one. He collaborated with PhD psychometricians, developers, and certification experts who shared a conviction: that enterprise-grade rigor and self-serve simplicity could coexist without pricing out new programs and learners. And Certiverse was born.
Certification has been gatekept for too long. The science is proven, the technology is ready, and every organization deserves access to credentials that actually mean something.

Our mission: Democratizing access to valid credentials.
Legacy vendors built their businesses around long implementation cycles, opaque pricing, and service-led delivery that forces their timelines from start to finish.
At the same time, the explosion of online learning has given everyone the tools to create courses, badges, and completion certificates, but most LMS platforms were never built to provide psychometrically valid certification
We built Certiverse for the organizations who need more than a quiz but don’t want to waste time or budget on the legacy approach. The science stays rigorous. The process becomes radically simpler.
The three pillars of Certiverse
Speed
Launch a credible certification in weeks, not the 12-24 month legacy timeline
Credibility
Grounded in psychometric science and modeled on ISO 17024 frameworks
Accessibility
Transparent, flat pricing with no hidden costs along the way
Built by testing experts sharing a mission.
Certiverse was designed by PhD psychometricians who have spent their careers building and validating high-stakes certification programs. Their expertise is embedded in every workflow, algorithm, and validation check in the platform.
The entire Certiverse team of scientists, developers, designers, support providers, and certification experts shares the belief that credentials should be accessible to everyone who wants to validate real skills.
PhD-Designed Methodology
The principles that shape everything we build.
Science over shortcuts
Every feature we build is grounded in testing science. If it's not defensible, we won't ship it.
Speed without sacrifice
The AI in Certiverse doesn't replace psychometrics, it accelerates it. The rigor of legacy models can be delivered quickly and simply.
Accessible to all
It’s estimated that 59% of the workforce will need upskilling. We're building tools that work for teams of every size, in every industry.
